Jeff Lichtenstein
CEO & Founder
Jeff Lichtenstein is a distinguished creative producer currently based in Los Angeles.
He has held roles at Blumhouse Productions, Innovative Artists, and United Talent Agency (UTA). A multifaceted creative with a background in marketing and finance, Jeff pivoted from commercial filmmaking for companies such as Capital One and Google in Washington, D.C., to narrative filmmaking in New York City.
In 2024, Jeff won the prestigious Arthur Krim Memorial Award for Excellence in Producing for his work on SPORT STAR (2026), supported by the Cook Foundation. He also received the Robert Gore Rifkind Prize and the Richard Brick Award for Special Distinction in Line Producing. In addition, he won the competitive Emerging Filmmakers Grant for his upcoming film THE ALLOWANCE (2026).
With Obluda, Jeff aims to support filmmakers who want to uplift marginalized communities and generate positive change in society.

Kaustubh "Vick" Singh

Kaustubh “Vick” Singh (or simply Vick) is a documentary and narrative film producer.
Vick’s short films have been featured at prominent domestic film festivals, including Slamdance, AFI, New Orleans, Palm Springs Shortsfest, NewFest, Big Sky, Frameline, and NFFTY, as well as renowned international festivals such as In The Palace, QCinema, and FIRST.
His acclaimed documentary projects include THAT WAS RAY (2019), which was a Student Academy Award® finalist, and PEACE OF HER OWN (2020), which won the Leo Freedman First Cut Award and was subsequently shortlisted for a GSA-BAFTA student film award.
His works have been supported by Indian Paintbrush, Film Manufacturer’s Inc, PepsiCo, Columbia University, and the Sundance Institute Ignite x Adobe Fellowship.
His works have been covered by the LA Times, Indian Express, Tenderloin Museum, Country Roads Magazine, Community Voices: America's Stories Program, Sikhlens Foundation, and Smithsonian Magazine.
Vick is dedicated to using film to illuminate the stories of underrepresented communities around the globe.

Guang Ren
Creative Executive
Guang Ren (or Ren) is an award-winning producer, writer, and director.
He began his career in Beijing working across film and TV development and market strategy, including roles at iQIYI and China Central Television.
His short film DELAY (2025) won the Sonje Award for Best Short Film at the 30th Busan International Film Festival, as well as the Asian Short Film Grand Prix at the Bangkok International Film Festival. It was also selected by the Tampere Film Festival and the Kurzfilmtage Winterthur. His experimental documentary GHOST OF HOME (2026) premiered at Slamdance Film Festival. He also supported post-production on Rosemead (dir. Eric Lin), which premiered at Tribeca 2025 and the 78th Locarno Film Festival.
His work has been recognized with the Arthur Krim Memorial Producing Award and the Indian Paintbrush Production Grant.At Obluda, Ren champions East Asian stories that strive to bridge the differences in the world.
